A call...

Dear reader,

To the great dismay of many, the building and its inventory, and with it the entire operation of Jacques Stinkens Orgelpijpenmakers, were lost to a devastating fire on Saturday, March 21. To the regret of those involved, the company has made the difficult decision to cease business operations after 112 years.

With this, a typical Dutch craft – cultural heritage – is in danger of being lost… As passionate stakeholders, we have decided to make every effort to prevent this from happening!

With the existing knowledge, skills, and contacts, we will continue Stinkens' philosophy in the new company, DutchOrganPipeCraft BV!

We will do this within a structure that is focused on market-wide collaboration, is flexible, and, with respect for the tradition of craftsmanship and quality, is 'of this time'.

In material terms, there is virtually nothing left! The enthusiasm for, and belief in, our initiative that we receive from the professional world of organ builders is heartwarming.

We have been offered help in various forms. This includes the temporary use of very specific tools and machines.

But we are not there yet. Capital is definitely needed in this start-up phase, which we do not have. We have decided to openly ask for your help regarding this through a crowdfunding campaign.

Will you help financially to prevent this craft from being lost? Every little bit helps!

How wonderful it would be to show you our new operation in person soon!
