DutchOrganPipeCraft

The Netherlands has a rich history of organ making. An age-old, artisanal market that has shrunk (and continues to do so), causing organ builders to increasingly outsource the production of organ pipes themselves.

For over a hundred years, the Netherlands has had an organ pipe workshop that manufactures organ pipes on commission for domestic and foreign organ builders. It enjoyed a very strong market position and a well-filled order book from a broad group of clients.

The company that held this key position within the organ building industry since 1914 decided to cease its business operations following a devastating fire on March 21 of this year.

There will be a need for beautiful, high-quality organs for a very long time. And with that, a need for a specialist to make, maintain, repair, restore, voice, and tune organ pipes.

It is our firm conviction that cooperation—in which we grant each other favors—will be the key to the healthy continued existence of the craft of organ making.

By respectfully continuing Stinkens' legacy, DutchOrganPipeCraft plays a leading role in the craft of organ building.
